is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

asked, "Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?"

and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that
they might find an accusation against him.

teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they
watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.

stand in front of everyone." So he got up and stood there.

"I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to
save life or to destroy it?"
¡iBBE¡jAnd Jesus said, I put
the question to you, Is it right to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil? to
give life or to take it away?

them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm? to

stop him from taking your tunic.

which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and
when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could
not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a
flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it
was well built.
¡iBBE¡jHe is like a man
building a house, who went deep and put the base of it on a rock; and when
the water came up and the river was driving against that house, it was not
moved, because the building was good.

building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the
rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could
not shake it: because it had been well builded.

collapsed and its destruction was complete."
